Where Science meets soul
The name Wylde Sisters is a tribute to two powerful forces: the professional tradition of Care and the biological restoration of Nature. It is a bridge between the clinical precision of the modern world and the ancient, intuitive wisdom of the first healers.
The "Wylde":
The "Wylde" refers to the original, natural state of your nervous system. It is found in the biochemistry of the plants we use, but more importantly, it is found within you. It is that spark of innocence and vitality that we often "armour" over to survive the pressures of modern life. To be Wylde is to be un-armoured; it is to return to the joy and natural rhythm that is your birthright.
The "Sisters":
Historically, the title "Sister" was given to the healers and nurses, like Florence Nightingale, who held the line in hospital wards. It is a title of deep respect, representing a "safe pair of hands" and an unwavering commitment to service. When you step into my sanctuary, you are entering a space of profound professional care, held with the dignity and protection that this timeless tradition of healing demands.
But this name also carries a deeper, warmer resonance. It honours the Ancient Sisters—the first drummers who were women and the first healers who understood the body’s rhythm. It draws inspiration from the "Sacred Mothers" of history, from the visionary wisdom of Hildegard von Bingen to the nurturing grace of Mother Mary. In this room, "Sister" means a promise that you are safe, you are seen, and you are home.
